LEADERS: Lou TIME:8.45am MEET: YCW Beach carpark, end of Beachcomer Ave., Smiths Beach town. Toilets available. Option 1: Street Walk from YCW to Surf Beach and back 9.0Km…… Easy flat terrain mainly on sealed & unsealed paths and roads with a short beach section on firm sand Option 2. Coastal Walk from YCW to Surf Beach (3.4km) and return by Street Walk - Total 7.8km ….. The Coastal Walk which is at low tide, has a section on rocks with a beach walk either side on mainly firm sand. This is an opportunity to experience a section of beautiful rugged coastline that very few people have seen. The famous Express Point where only the very courageous experienced surfers dare to challenge, will be one of the spectacular spots along the walk. Degree of difficult is M The return walk will be with the option 1 group along the streets & paths. Morning Tea: at Lou & Maria’s where coffee and tea will be provided Lunch: at Smiths Beach General Store - buy at store or BYO |
