Walk the Koonwarra Rail Trail to Meeniyan 8km +. Enjoy the scenic farmland views on the way to Meeniyan where we will have lunch.

Flynns Beach to Swan Lake

Meeting will be at Flynns beach car park, Ventnor Rd, Summerlands. There are public toilets there.
Start time: 9:15 to 9:30am
Details

Walk will include through the tree arch then down along path to Flynns beach. Along beach for a km each way.

Up to road then along Ventnor Rd for short distance. Down to swan Lake reserve for morning tea where  Deb will have a discussion the local plant and their uses.  Then along to bird hides to observe bird types.

About 7km. Some beach mostly path or some road. Relatively flat.

Kilcunda to Anderson Rail Trail return

Red Rocks to Ventnor Beach via Saltwater Creek

Details

Walking from the carpark at the end of Red Rocks Rd Cowes, as far as Ventnor Beach and return.  Walk will include beach, bush and grassed tracks + quiet road side.  Approx 8k. 

Low Tide: 8am
