Steve will lead the main pack along a bush track to the beach and then along firm sand to Observation Point where there is a diversity of bird life (binoculars might be useful) and views over the Rhyll Inlet to Rhyll. It takes about 30mins to get to Observation Point where you will have a morning tea break. The group will return to Erehwon Point along the same route.
In total, just over a 3hr walk of around 11-12km.

Wednesday walks are all about fun and challenge on easy paths. Designed for members who may be wishing to build their fitness on tracks that are easy to walk on for example well formed gravel tracks. The first walk will be from Anderson to Kilcunda on the rail trail. I will lead and move through the group to ensure that everyone is coping okay. We will discuss the format of the walk when we meet at Anderson. If you are recovering from an injury or operation, please get the approval of a medical professional that 5km walk is suitable for your recovery, although i aim to lead a walk where everyone walks at their own desired pace.
