    The proposal is this:

Sunday 27th October, weather permitting, we board the ferry at Cowes Pier Sunday 9am

$32.20 return or Senior Card holders(over 60) free on weekends and public holidays. Bring your seniors card for the discount.

Return on the French Island ferry from Tankerton Jetty at 2.30pm.(Due to arrive in Cowes  3.05)

During our 5 hour visit, we would explore the South Coast walk. From Tankerton Jetty  head east  for 2km to The Anchorage then due south to the coast. Look out for birds roosting in the mangroves. Walk along the coast with some smallish round stones, and then a sandy cove with very clear water. Arrive at the Slipway. Return along the coastal grassy path and find a suitable spot for morning tea\ lunch under the trees.

If we return to Tankerton Rd (10km) by 1pm we could enjoy a visit to the General Store.(which will be open for refreshments & toilet)

We are not restricted in numbers as there are no buses.

Please confirm if you will be walking by  23th October so I can book the ferry.
