  • Venus Bay pathway to Tarwin Lower

    MEET TIME: 9.15am

    LEADERS:

    MEET: Tarwin Lower Jetty carpark/picnic area, on right 150m. after hotel - at the bend. Toilets available. Car shuffle to Venus Bay  first beach carpark.

    DESCRIPTION: View the surf then follow footpath through town before crossing over to continue on the trail beside farmland, & part river, to the "long table" near the jetty. Morning tea.  5km point. Continue towards shops & take School Rd & back to river for boardwalk to a couple of fishing platforms. Return to Jetty for picnic lunch.    

    Approx 8.4km mostly easy      

    LUNCH: BYO picnic or buy.

    Pick up cars from Venus Bay.
