Kilcunda toward Half Moon Bay and return on the Bass Coast Coastal Trail

Kilcunda Foreshore Reserve Carpark

8.45 for 9am start 

8.5km, sand, gravel, steep hills. 

Bang on 9am we will set off from the carpark northwards along the rail trail before diverting onto the Bass Coast Trail.  An undulating track with magnificent views and many photo ops.  Look for eastern grey kangaroos in the bushes and brown falcons above. 

This track has many steep, long inclines;  If it’s been raining there will be slippery bits… bring poles if you think they will come in handy. Consider the short walk this week for an easier option.

Morning tea and a well earned breather will be on the beach at the half way
