Bass Coast Strollers would like to acknowledge  Sport and Recreation Victoria (SRV) for providing us with club uniforms under the 2022-23 Sporting Club Grants Program.

    Approximately  11km . it is bush walking with tree roots mud and rocks.
    Long pants, hiking boots and prepare for all weather.

    Meet at Stockyard pub at 9.30 am(Rawson Caravan Park)  Old Depot road  

    Car shuffle to the start on the Australian Alpine Track fairly steep downhill to poverty point steel bridge which is closed so we'll stay on poverty point track which has a couple of creek crossings and a fabulous waterfall as well as lovely views of the river and valley.  We'll get to the  Walhalla steel bridge and can have a look around there (Toilets) before making our way back up to the cars parked.
    Lunch where we feel like it on the track .
