Bass Coast Strollers will respect the privacy of members and any visitor or potential member who makes contact with our Club through our website or by emails or phone calls.

  • Gurdies Bush loop

    DATE & TIME: Mon, May 6th. 8.45am

    LEADER: Deb,   WHIP: Liz H.

    WALK: Grantville/Gurdies bush tracks and some  footpath.

    MEET: Grantville Hall/Rec.Reserve carpark, 1470 Bass Hwy, Grantville  (400m NE from traffic lights.)

    DISTANCE/GRADE:  Either 8 or 10km options. Mostly M. Undulating -  Short patch of soft sand. Poles will  be handy.

    Option 1 -10km.  Start walk from Hall along footpath to Deep Crk St., then to cemetery. Cross highway with care.                  

    Option  2  8km Carpool to Deep Creek St beach carpark, then cross Hwy with care.  All meet & follow track parallel to the highway,  then up through the bush, including track to creek, to Dunbabbin Rd. Seating for morning tea. Follow bushtrack down beside farmland  to return to cemetery and  back to hall (either walk or  cars ) crossing highway again.

    LUNCH: BYO or buy, for picnic in Rec.Reserve.   Hall toilets will be available.

     

  • Berrys Beach - Pyramid Rock clifftop walk return SHORT OPTION GROUP

    Last week the weather was not suitable for our walk from Berry’s Beach to Pyramid Rock and return so we are going to try again this week. The weatherorecast looks much more promising. 

    MEET: at the carpark at Berry’s Beach

    TIME: 8.45 ready for a 9am start.
